Healing and Esperanza Counseling is dedicated to providing inclusive, culturally responsive mental health therapy in English and Spanish in the state of Colorado via telehealth.
Individual Therapy for Adults
Individual counseling services are designed to help you overcome personal challenges and achieve your goals. I provide a supportive and non-judgmental environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings, gain insights into your behavior, and develop strategies for positive change.
Adolescent Counseling (12+)
Adolescent counseling services are designed to help young people overcome a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and more. I use evidence-based techniques to help teens develop coping skills, improve self-esteem, and achieve greater success in school and other areas of life.
LCSW Supervision
Designed to support and guide social workers in their professional development. With specialties in school social work, children and adolescents, burnout, compassion fatigue, social justice, and diversity, equity, and inclusion, I am committed to helping you foster growth. I also have extensive experience working with BIPOC and Spanish-speaking communities, ensuring culturally competent and inclusive supervision.

How does out-of-network insurance work?For out-of-network insurance claims, I am happy to provide you with an itemized receipt (superbill) to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. If you intend to seek reimbursement, please inform me at or before your first appointment so I can confirm the client's name on the insurance documents and determine the appropriate diagnosis. Since policies on out-of-network reimbursement vary by provider, please check with your insurance company to understand what services they will cover. Please note that I cannot guarantee any services will be reimbursed by insurance.

What is a Good Faith Estimate?Under Colorado law, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining the expected costs of your medical and mental health care if you are uninsured or self-pay. The estimate is based on the information available at the time and is no guarantee of final charges. If you receive a bill that is $400 or more than your estimate, you have the right to dispute it.

Do you offer a sliding-scale fee?I am able to offer services at a lower fee to a limited number of clients with financial need on a case-by-case basis. Please indicate when filling out the contact form on this website if you are in need of a sliding scale fee.

When is payment due?If you are a self-pay client, payment is due at time of service. If you utilize insurance, I will bill them after our session.

Cancellation PolicyIf you need to cancel an appointment, please provide notice 24 hours in advance. Any late cancellations or no-shows will result in a charge of $100 for the missed session.
